With your current gear I will have to say that your not quite ready to be raiding with us though that will hopefully change ofc Smile

I recommend you farm PoS hc to get the axe (last boss), and either buy MoT, farm ToC5 for ArP trinket or 245ilvl emblem trinket with hit which kinda sux for you seeing as you are "special ability" hit capped. Also get the T9 stuff and Wrathful wrist for a gs boost. You still have quite a bit of emblem farming to do but I'm sure you will be motivated if you have a guild to raid with when you hit around 5k gs.
(Thats what I had to do atleast... Uldo is such a meanie who forced me to farm hc after hc instead of just gear carry me through ICC Sad

)

And one more thing, we have recently implented a dkp system in order to make people join progress raids on tuesdays. This has made some people leave since they prefer the /roll system. What are your opinions on this system?

(Since it seems you have little guild raid experience I'l just explain that a "dkp system" rewards points aka dkp (dragon killing points) for people who attend guild raids and bonus points for every boss killed while in raid. There is also the requirement of staying whole raid time ofc. )

Like harak I would too like to know what you think of the fact that we are using DKP to determine who gets loot. No rolls, no randomness, just a strict system.

my only complaint is that i want you to improve your gear a bit, considering how easy it is nowadays with heroics etc it shouldnt be a problem.

when you've made improvements to around 5k gs, make a note in this thread about it.
